Hautefort gardens [click to enlarge]The beautiful grounds also include a classical French garden. The château and gardens are open to the public, as is the ancient hospice (founded in 1669) which now houses a Museum of Medicine.

A local leisure lake [click to enlarge]Just below the town is a leisure lake - the "Etang de CouCou" - which is ideal for walking and fishing. There is also a restaurant, which overlooks the lake.
